Unlock your imagination and learn to draw your own stories through a series of visualisation exercises, mark-making, collage and other drawing techniques. Andrew Antoniou demonstrates ways to look inwards for a more personal imagery using poetry, text and music, culminating in a series of unique drawings. This engaging and rewarding adventure includes learning a variety of techniques and being shown how to develop technical skills that will give your imagery greater impact through a better understanding of line, tone and composition.

Andrew Antoniou

Andrew Antoniou is represented by Australian Galleries in Sydney and Melbourne. He has over 35 years’ teaching experience in art schools and universities in Australia, the UK and the USA. He has been a finalist in many of the major drawing prizes in Australia, including a seven-time finalist in the Dobell, as well as a finalist on more than one occasion in the Adelaide Perry National Works on Paper Prize and the Jacaranda and Hutchins drawing prizes. In 2012 Andrew was awarded the Print Council of Australia Commission and his drawings were purchased for the Kedumba Collection of Australian Drawings.
