NAS Gallery is committed to showcasing a diversity of contemporary arts practice and accepts proposals from artists, arts organisations, and curators for exhibitions. Exhibitions in the Gallery and project spaces are generally programmed 12 – 18 months in advance to allow for project development and to comply with funding deadlines. The program is decided by the NAS Gallery Curator/Gallery Manager and NAS Director, assisted by an exhibition committee.
Selection is based on engagement with contemporary ideas, artistic and educational significance, research and profile of practitioners. While a high volume of submissions are received, each proposal is individually reviewed. Please allow eight weeks for a response.
Proposals should include the following:
- Project description/curatorial rationale
Up to 10 digital images (approx 1MB each)
List of works with medium description and dimension
Press coverage where applicable
CV with contact details
Publications relevant to the project
