Samantha brings extensive experience as a tertiary teacher and professional writer to her the role at the National Art School where she assists students at all levels to achieve their academic goals.
Previously Sam worked as an academic literacy tutor at Western Sydney University. She has also worked at the University of Wollongong as a tutor and lecturer in creative writing, and has taught writing at a number of TAFE colleges in Victoria and NSW. Her professional experience includes many years working in the corporate and government sectors as a technical writer, instructional designer, communications consultant and researcher. She holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts from the University of Wollongong, a Master of Arts in Writing from UTS, and is completing a Ph.D. in writing at the University of Canberra. Her fiction has appeared in literary magazines in Australia and the US.
