This annual exhibition in the offices of Saatchi & Saatchi Australia presents artwork by a selection of National Art School BFA graduates from 2015. Saatchi & Saatchi and the National Art School are proud of this partnership which showcases the creativity of emerging artists within the context of a leading design company.
Far from the white cube of a gallery, the Saatchi & Saatchi spaces provide an opportunity for student artists to exhibit their artworks which, in turn, offer visitors and staff of this energetic and productive office an opportunity to engage with different perspectives and meanings in visual culture. The works contribute conceptual space that may surprise, complement and extend the thought processes and creative outcomes generated in the offices on a daily basis.
The eleven artists selected for this exhibition are: Yiyi Fan, Kate Fennell, Aly Indermühle, Natacha Joesting, Marisa Langley, Brendan O’Donnell, Chrystal Rimmer, Jessica Serov, Jodi Stewart, Annabelle Wass and Suzi Zglinicki. They work across a range of disciplines including drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and installation.
Some of these graduates have established studios and are working in their chosen professional fields; others have continued their studies at the National Art School in 2016.
