Currently at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia is Telling Tales: Excursions in Narrative Form which explores the varied, inventive approaches taken by leading Australian and international artists to narrative form. NAS alumnus Jumaadi is featured with a selection of drawings, folded ‘concertina’ books or storyboards, and around 200 shadow puppets that have been hand-made and coloured, using dried buffalo hide, horn and pigments. On view until 9 October. Visit the MCA website.
