Applications for the National Art School’s 2018 international residency programs are now open. Come to Art Forum to hear from 2016–17 NAS residents at the Onslow Storrier studio at La Cite des Arts International in Paris, and ask them all the questions you have before applying.
Tania Alexander completed her MFA in Painting in 2016, and has recently returned from her three-month residency at La Cite. Painting lecturer and alumna Dr Susan Andrews was resident at La Cite in late 2016. Dominic Byrne completed his BFA (Hons) in Painting in 2015, and was resident at La Cite in 2016.
La Cite is located on the Right Bank in Rue de L’Hôtel de Ville in the 4th arrondissement overlooking the river Seine, near many commercial and public galleries and only a short walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. There are 270 studios that house artists, musicians and writers from around the world. There are four three-month residencies available in 2018.
Applications for the 2018 international residencies close on Monday 7 August, 5pm. Application forms are here.
