Head of Ceramics Lynda Draper presents a survey of her art practice over the past 3 decades and will also discuss her role as a curator and mentor.
Lynda Draper is a visual artist who primarily works in the Ceramic medium. Lynda has received numerous national and international awards and grants including a Skills and Development grant and two New Work grants from the Australian Council for the Arts. Her work is held by the National Gallery of Australia, the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza, Italy, The Smithsonian Institute, Washington and the collection of the Dutch Royal Family, among others.
An elected member of the International Academy of Ceramics, Draper is a graduate from the National Art School, holds a Bachelor of Education (Art) from UNSW and a Master of Fine Art (Research) from UNSW. She is represented by Gallerysmith in Melbourne and currently working towards a solo exhibition at Lefebvre & Fils Gallery, Paris.
