Wednesday 19 July
1–2pm Black Theatre

Applications for the National Art School’s 2018 international residency programs are now open. Come to Art Forum to hear from 2017 NAS Resident at the British School at Rome, alumnus and Sculpture Lecturer Gary Deirmendjian.

Gary will discuss his experience at the BSR, the work he created in Rome, and how the residency has expanded his practice.

The British School at Rome is a centre of interdisciplinary research excellence in the Mediterranean supporting the full range of arts, humanities and social sciences. This residency has been made possible through the generosity of our donors, particularly Jennifer Dowling. The British School at Rome is just north of Rome’s historic centre in the Valle Giulia which separates the Parioli district from the Borghese Gardens. The successful applicant will receive studio accommodation. There is one three-month residency available in 2018, from 3 April to 28 June.

Applications for the 2018 international residencies close:
Monday 7 August, 5pm
